Do I need to be of legal age to use BUDPRN?
Yes. BUDPRN is strictly 18+, and 21+ in jurisdictions where that is the legal cannabis age (e.g. most of the United States). You confirm your age on first visit, and we may ask again at sign-up. We do not allow under-age users.
Does BUDPRN sell or ship cannabis?
No. BUDPRN is a social and information platform for cannabis enthusiasts — we do not sell, ship, broker, or facilitate the purchase of cannabis or any other controlled substances. You will not find a shop, cart, or order button anywhere on the site.
Is using BUDPRN legal where I live?
BUDPRN itself is a social network and information service that is legal to use in any country where social media is legal. What is legal to do with cannabis varies enormously by country and region — you are responsible for knowing and following your own local laws. We do not encourage or instruct anyone to break the law.
What is a BudPost?
A BudPost is BUDPRN's take on a cannabis-aware photo post. Instead of just an image and a caption, a BudPost lets you tag the strain, genetics, terpene profile, and (where relevant) THC/CBD numbers right on the picture — so the community can actually discuss what they're looking at.
Where does the strain database come from?
Our strain catalogue is community-curated and cross-referenced with public breeder data, peer-reviewed terpene/cannabinoid research, and user contributions. Strain entries link to lineage, reported effects, and the breeders we have on file. If you spot something wrong, you can suggest a correction.
Are the social clubs and locations on the map verified?
Map entries (cannabis social clubs, headshops, community spots) start as community submissions and are checked by our moderators before they appear publicly. We mark verification status on the pin itself. Hours, legality, and membership rules change quickly — always confirm directly with the venue before showing up.
How does content moderation work?
We moderate for things that are unsafe or off-topic: content involving minors, sales offers, hard drugs, harassment, and illegal activity in your jurisdiction. We do not moderate honest cannabis discussion among adults — that is what the platform is for. You can report any post, and you can block any user.
How do you handle my data and privacy?
